Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Marioo is set to release his brand new 9-track EP titled MMMCXII, a major project scheduled for official release on May 29, 2026 under his label Bad Nation.

Described as a body of work built with emotion, vision, and culture, MMMCXII brings together different sounds, moods, and collaborations that reflect Marioo’s growth as one of East Africa’s most influential music voices. The EP is executive produced by Kaniba Creator, with additional production from S2Kizzy, Abbah Process, and Blvcq_Szn.
The project features strong collaborations from across Africa, including Bruce Melodie on “Priority,” Ya Levis on “Doucement,” Sofiya Nzau on “UA (Flower),” Chella on “Sugar 2.0,” D Voice on “Watu,” Harmonize on “Pombe I,” and BabyDaiz on “POMBE II (We Live Once).” Other tracks include “Mombasa,” produced by Kaniba Creator, and “SUGAR,” produced by S2Kizzy.
Marioo is widely known for his smooth vocals, songwriting ability, and hit-making presence in Bongo Flava and Afropop. With MMMCXII, he continues to expand his sound while connecting Tanzanian music with wider African audiences through carefully selected features and production.
The EP is distributed by Africori and stands as another important step in Marioo’s music journey, offering fans a fresh collection shaped by love, celebration, lifestyle, and cultural influence.
