Officially released on May 29, 2026, as part of the MMMCXII EP, “UA (Flower)” appears as the project’s fourth track. The song was produced by BLVCQ (Blvcq_Szn), with Kaniba Creator serving as the Executive Producer for the project. Its official music video was released earlier on May 25, 2026, helping build momentum ahead of the full EP launch.
Musically, “UA (Flower)” blends Marioo’s melodic Bongo Flava style with Sofiya Nzau’s folk-infused Afro-house / Amapiano vocal identity, creating a smooth East African sound with international appeal. The Swahili word “UA” translates to “Flower,” symbolizing beauty, affection, and a love that continues to bloom.
The song carries a romantic message, with both artists expressing admiration for a precious and delicate love. Since its teaser, “UA (Flower)” has also sparked online discussion due to its “Uuuua, uuuua” chorus, which some fans compared to “Amanxeba” by South African artist Samikay.
