X-rated gatherings and adult-themed antics—definitely not what one would expect from a case of kidnapping and torture, yet fresh eye-opening videos and images unveil this type of extravagant, hedonistic environment surrounding the strange crypto kidnapping incident that has led to the incarceration of John Woeltz and William Duplessie.

TMZ has acquired this video showcasing their purported victim—Italian entrepreneur Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan—socializing, smiling, and often shirtless, alongside other revelers within the Manhattan residence rented by Duplessie and Woeltz.
Authorities report that the two men abducted and mistreated Carturan from May 6 to May 23 in an effort to compel him to surrender the password to his Bitcoin wallet, valued at millions. The accused are said to have beaten, electrocuted, and pistol-whipped Carturan; however, the recent visuals—taken around May 11 or 12—depict him predominantly cheerful and interacting with multiple women.
One image captures him shirtless and grinning, wearing a collar attached to a leash being held by a woman, mimicking a BDSM scenario. Two other women are seated on a couch observing the scene, alongside another man whose face is obscured by Carturan, leaving us uncertain whether he is Duplessie or Woeltz.
Perhaps the most startling clip features Carturan in a bedroom with a woman when an unidentified man bursts in to press a pink sexual device against Carturan’s rear.
Additional footage reveals Carturan discussing the process of cutting cocaine with baking soda and resting on a couch near two others—one of whom has a large knife on his lap. There is also a video of Carturan on his knees as a woman gently tugs at his leash.
Another image shows the Italian investor in a wheelchair, sipping a drink and eating a sandwich, while the Blake Lively film, “Another Simple Favor,” is projected on the wall behind him.
While none of the visuals depict Carturan in a state of distress, that does not imply such moments did not occur. We have been informed that this footage was captured within a span of 2 to 3 days during the nearly three weeks Woeltz and Duplessie allegedly held Carturan against his will.
TMZ previously shared another shocking scene—filmed on May 11 at 1:45 AM—of Carturan bound to that wheelchair with his hands free to prepare crack cocaine in an air fryer, while at least two other individuals in the room observe and laugh.
As previously reported, Woeltz and Duplessie are currently in custody without bail after prosecutors charged them with kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. These images raise questions regarding whether, or for how long, Carturan was confined against his will.
We have reached out to the Manhattan D.A.’s Office for comment, but they have chosen not to respond. We also contacted the NYPD and the attorneys representing Woeltz and Duplessie, but have yet to receive any responses.
