Diamond Platnumz has officially confirmed he is married to fellow Tanzanian singer Zuchu. The announcement came through a series of Instagram photos shared on June 1, 2025, showing what appeared to be a private traditional Islamic wedding ceremony. While Diamond did not initially give full details, the images, featuring Sheikhs and a woman resembling Zuchu, sparked massive online reactions and congratulations from fans.

The couple had been romantically linked for years, with an on-and-off relationship that often played out in the public eye. Despite Zuchu announcing their breakup in late 2024, Diamond later declared he would marry her before Ramadan 2025—a promise he now appears to have fulfilled.
In the same period, Diamond continued his musical dominance, releasing “Koma Sava” featuring Jason Derulo, one of the biggest hits of 2024. On YouTube, he now boasts over 10 million subscribers, making him the most subscribed Sub-Saharan African artist, ahead of Burna Boy and Davido.
Diamond’s label, WCB Wasafi, has also played a major role in East African music, though several stars including Harmonize, Rayvanny, Mbosso, and Lava Lava have since exited. Zuchu remains one of the label’s biggest current acts.
