In a shocking development, CNN has released surveillance footage from 2016 showing Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs physically assaulting his former girlfriend, singer Cassie. The incident took place at a Century City hotel and was described by Cassie in a lawsuit settled late last year.

The video, released on May 17, captures Cassie, now 37, exiting a hotel room and heading towards an elevator when Combs, now 54, follows her with a towel around his waist. He grabs her by the neck, throws her to the ground, and violently kicks her as she lies motionless. He is also seen throwing an object at her before walking away.
Cassie’s attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor, expressed the gravity of the footage, commending Cassie’s courage in bringing the issue to light. Diddy’s representatives have yet to respond to requests for comments.
In her November lawsuit, Cassie detailed similar accounts of abuse, describing how Combs, in a drunken rage, punched her, giving her a black eye, and later threw glass vases at her as she tried to escape. The lawsuit, which cited years of repeated physical abuse during their relationship from 2007-2018, was settled the day after it was filed, with both parties stating they resolved the matter amicably.
However, since the settlement, more individuals have come forward with accusations against Combs, including abuse, sex trafficking, and gang rape. In response to these allegations, Combs has maintained his innocence, accusing others of trying to tarnish his reputation for financial gain.
