Sofia Vergara and Son Manolo Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against Alleged Stalker

Colombian-American actress Sofia Vergara and her son Manolo have been granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker named Gregory Brown.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Sofia, 51, claims that Brown is a “mentally unstable stalker” who has a delusional belief that he personally knows her and has a relationship with her and her family, including her son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, who is 32 years old.

Sofia alleges that Brown’s aggressive and harassing conduct has left her feeling frightened for her safety and has caused anxiety and emotional distress. Despite being arrested earlier this year for trespassing and vandalism at her residence, Brown has continued to pursue Sofia.

Reports suggest that Brown attempted numerous times to contact Sofia and Manolo. He allegedly gained unauthorized entry into her gated community by hiking in from the hills over the summer. Additionally, Sofia claims she received a concerning letter from Brown in November, in which he said he would be “seeing and hearing her very soon, my love,” signing it off as “Gangsta.”

Sofia further notes that Brown has a criminal history involving arrests for violent offenses, heightening her concerns for her safety.

As a result, a judge has granted Sofia and Manolo a temporary restraining order against Brown, requiring him to stay at least 100 yards away from them and prohibiting any contact.

Manolo is Sofia’s son from her first marriage to Joe Gonzalez. After their divorce, she later married actor Joe Manganiello, with whom she recently announced her separation and divorce after seven years of marriage. The couple did not have children together.
