Her notable roles include Rajkumari Ahankara in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Zara/Babli in Ishq Subhan Allah, and Aadhya Verma in Internet Wala Love.

Who is Tunisha Sharma?

Born on January 4, 2002, in Chandigarh, Tunisha faced the tragedy of losing her father at a young age. She went by the nicknames Tunu and Tisha and completed her education at Chandigarh University in Mohali, Punjab. Additionally, Tunisha had a tattoo on her left forearm that read ‘Love Above Everything.’

Early life

Vanita Sharma gave birth to Sharma on 4th January 2002 in Chandigarh. During her early years of professional life, Sharma was diagnosed with depression and anxiety problems.

Career

Chand Kanwar was Sharma’s character in her debut on Sony Entertainment Television’s Maharana Pratap. Later, she portrayed Rajkumari Ahankara in Colors TV’s Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. In 2016, Sharma made her entry into films as Young Firdaus in Fitoor, and the same year she acted as Young Dia in Baar Baar Dekho and Mini in Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh.

Sharma portrayed Mehtab Kaur in Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 2017. She was cast as Aadhya Verma in Colors TV’s Internet Wala Love from 2018 to 2019.

In 2019, she appeared in Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah playing the roles of Zara/Babli. ASP Aditi was Sharma’s character in season 2 of SAB TV’s Hero – Gayab Mode On in 2021. In 2022, she played the lead role opposite Sheezan Mohammed Khan in Sony SAB’s Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul.

Sharma is set to appear posthumously in Abbas-Mustan’s film 3 Monkeys.

Death

In a studio located in Naigaon, Maharashtra, on 24th December 2022, Sharma hung herself in the make-up room of her co-star Sheezan Mohammed Khan while shooting for the television series Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul. She was rushed to a hospital, but unfortunately, she was declared dead on arrival.

Following a complaint filed by her mother, Khan was charged with abetment to suicide and later arrested. Reports suggest that Sharma and Khan had previously been in a romantic relationship, but had ended it shortly before her demise.
