Officially released as a single on April 11, 2025, “ILOMBA” later appeared as the 12th track on SERRO’s 2025 album, Dusk to Dawn. The song was produced and mixed by Bassman, mastered by Kinyua Mathenge, and released under Kasha Entertainment / ONErpm.
The title “Ilomba” is a Luo word that translates to “You pray for me” or “You plead for me.” Through its blend of English and Luo, the song expresses the beauty of finding a partner who feels like home, offering love, protection, and spiritual support.
With acoustic guitars by Edwin Oloo Sule, “ILOMBA” carries SERRO’s rich, warm, and acoustic-driven sound. Together with Coster Ojwang, she creates a romantic and heartfelt song about unexpected love, deep desire, and the comfort of being loved in a way that feels safe and prayerful.
