Zambian Hip-Hop artist Jemax, also known as Bachilolo, returns with a brand-new single titled “Uko Iyo,” a direct and hard-hitting track that brings a reality check to modern relationships.

Officially released on May 30, 2026, “Uko Iyo” was promoted for release at 10:00 AM and marks one of Jemax’s major solo follow-ups after his successful 2024 album, The BoogeyMan, which featured fan-favorite tracks such as “One Day” and “Rhoda.”
Unlike typical romantic songs, “Uko Iyo” carries a warning message to partners who keep testing boundaries, taking love for granted, or ignoring respect in relationships. The song positions Jemax in his familiar lane of bold storytelling, streetwise expression, and sharp Zambian Hip-Hop / Rap delivery.
The release also comes as Jemax continues preparing new music, with recent updates pointing to work on another album after the strong reception of The BoogeyMan and his late 2025 release “Kale.” Through “Uko Iyo,” Jemax keeps his momentum alive while giving fans another confident and relatable anthem.
