Seyi Vibez (real name Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi) was born on July 12, 2000, in Ketu, Lagos State, Nigeria. He moved with his family to Ikorodu, where he grew up, and launched his musical career in 2019 with the single Anybody. However, his breakthrough came in 2020 with Godsent, which earned him serious recognition.

Billion Dollar is one of the lead singles off his 2022 studio album Billion Dollar Baby. The single dropped on April 7, 2022 and was released under his label Vibez Inc in collaboration with Dvpper Music
In Billion Dollar, Seyi Vibez mixes Afrobeats with his signature style — emotional vocals, street-pop energy, and lyrics about striving for wealth and recognition. The hook “Fun mi lowo bi billion dollar” (meaning give me money like it’s a billion dollars) captures the aspirational and resilient theme of the song.
