Asake (born Ahmed Ololade on January 13, 1995, in Lagos State, Nigeria) is a standout figure in the new wave of Afrobeats. He first studied theatre arts at Obafemi Awolowo University (Ile-Ife) and began his journey as a dancer and performer before switching fully into music.
