Lady Jaydee, born Judith Wambura Mbibo on June 15, 1979, in Shinyanga, Tanzania, is a celebrated singer and songwriter. Widely regarded as a pioneer of Swahili R&B and Afro-pop, she has been a prominent figure in the East African music scene since 2000. Over the years, she has received numerous accolades, including Best Tanzanian Female R&B Artist in 2002 and multiple Tanzania Music Awards.
