Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi, better known by his stage name Mbosso, was born on October 3, 1995, in Kibiti, Pwani Region, Tanzania. He got his start in the music industry as part of the group Yamoto Band before launching a groundbreaking solo career under the label WCB Wasafi.

In his latest release, “Nusu Saa” (Swahili for “Half an Hour”), Mbosso explores themes of love, healing, and longing. The song is featured on his EP Room Number 3 and was officially released on June 12, 2025. Produced by Lizer Classic, the track pairs a smooth, melodic instrumentation with Mbosso’s expressive delivery.
