Zola 7 (born Bonginkosi Dlamini on 24 April 1977) is a South African kwaito musician, poet, actor, television presenter, and philanthropist. He hails from the township of Zola in Soweto and first gained fame with his portrayal of gangster Papa Action on Yizo Yizo. Zola later starred in Tsotsi (Oscar-winning film) and released impactful albums like Umdlwembe and Bhambatha, featuring the anthem “Don’t Cry.” Through his TV show Zola 7 and own label Guluva Entertainment, he empowers youth across South Africa .
