Cosmas Paul Mfoy—better known as Rapcha—has journeyed from Shinyanga’s church choir and local studios at age 12 to become one of Tanzania’s most compelling voices. Born on September 23, 1999, he turned personal loss into purpose, honing his craft through hardship and soul. Now he unveils “Sometimes,” an emotive duet with emerging Bongo Flava sensation Lydia Marley.

As the fifth track on his new album Don’t Take God’s Credits, this collaboration fuses Rapcha’s heartfelt storytelling with Marley’s rich, expressive vocals over a backdrop of infectious rhythms—proof that true artistry is born from the deepest of struggles.
