Comedienne and actress Tiffany Haddish has recently faced legal challenges following her second DUI arrest in two years. Haddish, who was previously found sleeping in her car in Georgia in January 2022, is now facing charges for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .08% or higher. This recent arrest prompted the court to impose stringent conditions on her bond.
According to documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, a Georgia judge has ordered Haddish to abstain from alcohol and illegal drugs. This decision was made following a request by prosecutors to modify the conditions of her bond after her Beverly Hills arrest. The court was informed of her November 24, 2023, arrest during the motion.
Police reports describe finding Haddish asleep and slumped over the wheel of her vehicle, which was still running in the middle of Beverly Drive. In response to her latest legal issue, prosecutors requested additional conditions to be added to her bond, including mandatory drug testing.
During a hearing, the judge granted this motion, stipulating that Haddish is not to consume alcohol, use drugs, or even CBD products. However, she is allowed to take prescription drugs within therapeutic limits. Haddish will also have to undergo a drug test panel that screens for the use of general illegal drugs, including tests for ETG and ETS, which are alcohol metabolites. This development marks a significant turn in Haddish’s ongoing legal battles and her struggle with substance-related issues.
