Keke Palmer's Ex Darius Jackson Claims Actress Was 'Primary Aggressor' in Relationship

In a recent development in the domestic dispute involving actress Keke Palmer and her ex-partner Darius Jackson, Jackson has come forward with allegations of abuse against Palmer. In a counterclaim filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Jackson, 29, accused the 30-year-old actress of being ‘verbally and physically abusive’ during their relationship.

This counterclaim comes after Palmer obtained a temporary restraining order against Jackson last month, amid allegations of domestic violence. Jackson, who shares a nine-month-old son, Leodis Andrellton, with Palmer, detailed several incidents in his legal documents. He claimed that Palmer often became aggressive after consuming alcohol and cited instances where she allegedly attacked him physically.

One such incident, as per Jackson’s account, occurred at a birthday party on August 20, 2021, where Palmer allegedly punched him in the face. In another incident in January 2022, Jackson claimed that Palmer punched his car’s windshield while he was driving. He also recounted a February 2022 episode where Palmer allegedly choked and hit him at her Los Angeles residence.

Jackson’s counterclaim also mentioned an incident on March 12, 2023, where he alleges an intoxicated Palmer cursed at him and became enraged when he tried to de-escalate the situation. Amid these tumultuous times, Jackson has turned to religion and physical wellness, as reflected in his recent Instagram post.

Responding to Palmer’s allegations and the temporary restraining order, Jackson has requested joint legal and physical custody of their son and is asking the court to dismiss Palmer’s petition. He also seeks a stay-away and no-contact order against Palmer, alongside requesting her to cover his legal expenses.

The legal battle continues as the court is set to address Palmer’s request for a restraining order in a hearing scheduled for January 9. Both parties have expressed their sides of the story, with Jackson’s recent counterclaim adding a new dimension to the ongoing dispute.
