In December, Dion had to cancel her world tour due to this progressive and incurable condition, which attacks the body’s nerve cells and significantly affects mobility. Claudette, in a recent interview with 7 Jours, expressed her heartbreak over Dion’s struggle, noting the singer’s lifelong discipline and dedication to her craft.
Claudette highlighted the severity of the syndrome, mentioning that it affects even the vocal cords and heart, which are muscles. The rarity of the condition means that there has been limited research, making treatment and improvement difficult.
