Previously, he had described working with the Nigerian superstar as one of his most incredible experiences, applauding Burna’s quick and efficient work ethic. He shared how Burna Boy was quick to pick ‘Roboshotta’ as the track they would collaborate on after listening to a few songs from his album.
Their camaraderie has grown since Busta Rhymes praised Burna Boy for his sold-out performance at the Citi Field Stadium in New York in July 2023. The American rapper also made an appearance in Burna Boy’s ‘Big 7’ music video in August.
The two artists’ collaboration and mutual respect highlight the growing global influence of African music and its seamless fusion with other genres, creating a rich and diverse musical landscape.
