  1. Michael Cole revealed on commentary that this was Lesnar’s 12th WrestleMania match.
  2. Omos overpowered Lesnar early, chucking him across the ring and drawing a smile from The Beast.
  3. The Nigerian Giant hoisted Lesnar up in a bearhug as Cole put over how rare it is to see The Beast manhandled to that extent.
  4. Omos smacked his face on the ring post, and Lesnar delivered a German suplex and then added a second. He sold his back injury, but not enough to prevent a third suplex.
Women’s WrestleMania Showcase Match

3 OF 8

  1. Morgan started quickly with an attack on Deville, but Sonya rocked her with a pump kick.
  2. A missile dropkick by Green did not budge Rodriguez, who looked like a total force.
  3. Shotzi wiped out Baszler and Deville with a tope suicide. Green followed up with a dive to avoid punishment from Rodriguez.
  4. Rodriguez hoisted Morgan into a powerbomb position and then sent her over the top rope onto the rest of the field.
  5. Shotzi delivered a double Sliced Bread #2, with assistance from Natalya.
  6. Natalya applied a double Sharpshooter to Deville and Green, but Morgan broke it up.
Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship

4 OF 8

  1. Gunther made a grand entrance befitting a Ring General and dominant intercontinental champion.
  2. Sheamus unloaded 29 beats of the Bodhran on McIntyre, the last one catching him in the face.
  3. With Gunther seated in the corner, McIntyre tossed Sheamus overhead into the champion.
  4. Sheamus applied the Cloverleaf to Gunther, but McIntyre broke it up with a headlock.
  5. The Celtic Warrior delivered a Brogue Kick, but McIntyre broke up the pin, robbing him of the one title that has eluded him throughout his career.
  6. Sheamus rocked McIntyre with a Brogue Kick, but McIntyre kicked out at two. The Irishman returned the favor moments later when he kicked out of a Claymore.
Raw Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair vs. Asuka

5 OF 8

  1. The Divas of Compton joined Belair for her entrance, one of the best of the entire weekend.
  2. Belair delivered a thunderous powerbomb on the arena floor.
  3. “Whatever Belair throws at her, Asuka takes it and smiles,” Corey Graves said on commentary.
  4. Belair delivered a big suplex from the apron, over the top rope, to her opponent in a great display of strength.
  5. A struggle for control on the ropes ended with Asuka pulling Belair to the mat with her braid and then delivering a Codebreaker for a near-fall.
  6. Asuka whiffed on the mist but still managed to apply the armbar in a dramatic spot.
The Miz, Snoop Dogg and Shane McMahon

6 OF 8

  1. Snoop’s improvisational abilities.
  2. The end of the segment.
Hell in a Cell: Edge vs. Finn Bálor

7 OF 8

  1. Edge entered the arena to Slayer’s “South of Heaven,” which is ironic given that one of Damian Priest’s signature moves goes by the same name.
  2. Bálor drew a big pop for his Demon entrance, which did not bode well for the idea that he was the heel in this match.
  3. There were red and purple weapons inside the structure, which takes away from the idea of spontaneity and a heated blowoff match.
  4. Bálor suffered a nasty cut from the ladder, and the match came to a standstill as the medical personnel checked on him.
  5. Bálor delivered a Coup de Grace from a conveniently placed platform on the side of the cell but missed and crashed through the table. Edge followed with a Spear for a close two-count.
Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes

8 OF 8

  1. Rhodes presented the late Brodie Lee’s son, also Brodie, with his weightlifting belt at ringside before embracing his daughter, Liberty in an emotional moment before the match.
  2. “Who owns the Island of Relevancy? They pay for you!” Heyman told a visibly frustrated Reigns early on.
  3. Rhodes attempted the Disaster Kick, but Reigns caught him and power-bombed him for two.
  4. Sikoa jabbed Rhodes in the ribs with a steel chair, undetected by the official.
  5. Rhodes back body-dropped Reigns off the Spanish announce table and through the U.S. one, giving The American Nightmare a reprieve from the concentrated attack on his ribs.
  6. Sikoa then used the weightlifting belt given to Brodie to strike Rhodes. This time, referee Dan Englert ejected him from ringside.
  7. The Tribal Chief caught his challenger with a Spear on the rebound but could only keep him down for two.
  8. The Usos started to interfere in the match but were seen off by Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
