Coming after the record had moved from the fourth position to the third on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top 100 charts, ‘Rush’ has now toppled Asake’s reign on the top songs chart with the YBNL singer’s Joha ranking as the second top song.
It would be worthy to note that while the top songs’ chart for Apple Music Nigeria is different from the Top 100 chart, the former always serves as an indicator of the positions of songs on the latter. Additionally, the Top Songs chart becomes updated before the Top 100 and this signals that Ayra Starr’s Rush is currently the number one song in the country.
This new peak for Rush makes it the singer’s third solo hit since she became a Mavin-activated act in January 2021. The other songs include Bloody Samaritan off her debut album, 19 & Dangerous, and Away off her debut self-titled EP.
