Tanzanian musician, songwriter, and recording artist signed under WCB Wasafi record label, Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa, better known by his stage name Rayvanny, has broken another big record, becoming the first African act to perform At MTV Europe Music Awards 2021.

The Next Level Boss, Rayvanny got the opportunity to perform at the awards gala alongside Colombian superstar Maluma, a few days after they released a brand new joint tagged Mama Tetema.

The 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards were held on 14 November 2021 at the László Papp Budapest Sports Arena in Budapest, Hungary.

This marked the first time that Hungary hosted the awards show. Justin Bieber led the nominations, with a total of eight, making him the most nominated male artist.
