Richard Martin Lusinga, known professionally as Rich Mavoko, is a Tanzanian singer and songwriter. He was initially signed to ‘King Kaka Records‘ in 2016, a record label founded by Kenyan rapper King Kaka, and later to WCB Wasafi where he also signed out.
 When questioned, Rich attributed his swift departure to an alleged top-down pyramid structure at the label, with one artist receiving greater investment than others; he also mentioned unfair contractual terms as one of his reasons for seeking to terminate his contract with the label.

Mavoko has claimed that he has never had any contact with Diamond Platnumz despite being signed to his label, WCB Wasafi.
Interviewed by Willy M Tuza on the Mambo Mseto program on Radio Citizen, Kenya, Mavoko said even his joining the label was Diamond using other people.
“We were never friends, and even when we were on the label we never became friends,” said Mavoko, who is currently trending for his new song, ‘Nidonoe’.
“I never looked for someone to work with because I was so talented. I was looked for by other people that he sent, he failed to face me, I think,” said Rich Mavoko.

Mavoko also said that despite appearing to be a great artist before signing in to WCB Wasafi, it is not fair to compete with Diamond as when he released his debut album, ‘Kwamwambie‘ (2010) he was a Form Four, so they have competed in music.
