US hip hop stars Meek Mill and Travis Scott reportedly punched each other on the night of July 4, this year. If any celebrity or influencer Instagram stories crossed your feed this past weekend, you likely saw footage of a 4th of July white party in the Hamptons.
The incident happened while they were at a party organized by local businessman Michael Rubin which was attended by various celebrities like JayZ, Beyonce, etc.
Although; Mill has criticized Scott before for his choice to accompany Maroon 5 in their 2018 Super Bowl halftime show performance during the NFL’s controversy surrounding Colin Kaepernick’s right to protest during the national anthem.
“He don’t need that,” Meek Mill tweeted. “Stay strong in this shit!” Mill also made a point to make it obvious that he “fucks with” Travis at the time, although that friendliness doesn’t appear to have lasted.
However, it is not clear what exactly caused the fight between the two rappers.
