Nigerian singer Tems has unveiled her highly anticipated single, “Love Me Jeje,” a modern tribute to the classic 1997 hit by Seyi Sodimu featuring Shaffy Bello. Tems first introduced the song during her captivating performance at Coachella, where she delighted fans with a preview of the chorus and hinted at her forthcoming album, “Born In The Wild.”

Earlier this month, Tems officially announced her long-awaited debut album, “Born In The Wild,” set to be released on Since ‘93/RCA Records in May. Following her electrifying debut at Coachella, she has now released “Love Me Jeje,” which beautifully honors the original while showcasing her unique style.
Seyi Sodimu responded with heartfelt gratitude on Instagram, expressing his joy at hearing Tems’ rendition. “This made my day. The beautiful thing about music is that it transcends generations and connects us through time. Shoutout to Tems and her team, and congrats on a wonderful Coachella performance,” he wrote.
Last month, Tems also collaborated with Tyla on the track “No.1,” further building anticipation for her album. With “Love Me Jeje,” Tems continues to impress, blending nostalgia with fresh, contemporary sounds that resonate with fans old and new.
