Prince Indah, born Evance Ochieng Owino on August 9, 1994, in Murumba Village, Siaya County, Kenya, is a celebrated Ohangla and Afro-Rhumba artist. Raised partly in Nairobi’s Huruma flats, he faced early hardships including the death of his father and later his mother, which forced him to drop out of school. Yet, through resilience, he built a career merging traditional Luo rhythms with modern sounds.

In October 2025, following the death of Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, a towering figure in Kenyan politics, Prince Indah announced a new song titled “Wuod Oganda, Amolo 3 in 1”, described as an Ohangla tribute to Odinga. The song is set to be released at 6:00 a.m., with the time being symbolic — just before sunrise — in line with cultural and spiritual customs noted in the Luo tradition.
Lyrically, the song is being framed as a homage to Raila’s legacy — his leadership, activism, struggle for democracy, and impact on Kenyan society. It aims to capture the national mood of loss and remembrance, bringing together political, historical, and emotional themes.
The title “Wuod Oganda, Amolo 3 in 1” itself references Odinga’s Luo heritage (“Wuod Oganda”) and names associated with him — Amolo. The “3 in 1” likely symbolizes the many roles he held and the facets of his life as leader, activist, and national figure.
