Released 14 June 2024, “Arabambi” marks Oxlade’s first major solo single of the year, and serves as a prelude to his upcoming debut album Oxlade From Africa.
The title “Arabambi” is rooted in Yoruba and Nigerian street-culture: it translates roughly as “the child of the people,” “the community gave birth to this child,” or “the chosen one.” It is also the nickname of legendary Fuji musician K1 De Ultimate.
