Joseph Oscar Nii Armah Mettle, known professionally as Joe Mettle, is a leading Ghanaian gospel musician, songwriter, and worship leader. Born on July 5, 1981, in Accra, Ghana, he’s the eldest of six children.

Joe Mettle first gained recognition as a backing vocalist for gospel legends such as Cindy Thompson, Danny Nettey, and Reverend Tom Bright Davies. He later became lead singer of the group Soul Winners before establishing his solo career. His ministry extends beyond music: he founded Joe Mettle Ministries and Reverb Studios, and hosts major gospel events like Praise Reloaded and LoveGift in Ghana.
Pentecost appears on Joe Mettle’s album Wind of Revival, released in August 2019. The song is a celebration and invocation of the moving presence of the Holy Spirit, referencing the Christian feast of Pentecost—a time when power, renewal, and divine presence erupted among the early believers
