Daniel Etiese Benson, known professionally as BNXN (formerly Buju), was born on May 14, 1997 in Lagos, Nigeria. He hails from Akwa Ibom State but grew up in Gbagada before relocating to Ogun State. From early on, BNXN was influenced by Nigerian greats like 2Baba and the sounds of Afro-pop, fuelling his drive to create music rooted in authenticity.
