Asake (born Ahmed Ololade on January 13, 1995 in Lagos, Nigeria) is a leading voice in the modern Afrobeats scene. He studied Theatre & Dramatic Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and his music draws from his roots in Lagos streets, Yoruba culture and a mixture of fuji, amapiano and street-pop energy.
