Ali Saleh Kiba, known by his stage name Alikiba (or King Kiba), was born on November 29, 1986, originally from Kigoma, Tanzania. He’s among the most influential voices in East Africa, often called the King of Bongo Flava.

Alikiba’s musical journey started in 2004 after his school exams. His early breakthrough came with hits like Cinderella, Nakshi Mrembo, Usiniseme, and Mwana. Over the years he’s built a reputation for blending traditional Tanzanian sounds with Afro-pop, R&B, and modern Afro-fusion—creating emotionally resonant songs that often explore love, heartbreak, success, and identity.
“Sella” is a deeply emotional and soulful, where he pours his heart out to a lover who has betrayed his trust. The song tells the story of a woman who once promised loyalty, devotion, and honesty but ultimately chooses to cheat, leaving Alikiba heartbroken and disillusioned.
