Hemedy PHD, whose real name is Hemed Suleiman, is a Tanzanian actor and Bongo Flava/R&B singer who rose to fame after winning the East African music competition Tusker Project Fame in 2013. Since then, he’s built a dual career in Bongo Movies and the music scene, releasing hits like “Carolina,” “Hallo,” and “Siko Sawa,” and is known for his soulful vocals, emotive lyrics, and charismatic presence both on screen and stage
