Brymo is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and sonic artist born Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi on May 9, 1986. Known for his genre-blending sound that includes afro‑soul, alternative folk, R&B, and Yoruba musical traditions, he started releasing music in 2007. He rose to prominence with his album The Son of a Kapenta, featuring hits like “Ara” and “Good Morning”.
