“Hola Me” is a vibrant and popular song by the Cameroonian musical group X Maleya. Released as part of their highly successful album “Tous ensemble” in 2012, alongside their hit “Tchokolo,” “Hola Me” further cemented the trio’s (now duo’s) position as one of the most influential and beloved bands in Cameroonian and Central African music.

X Maleya, comprising Roger Samnig Tang and Haissam “Haïs” Zaiter (formerly with Auguste Teteck a Rim), are renowned for their distinctive fusion of traditional Cameroonian rhythms (such as makossa, bikutsi, and bend-skin) with contemporary Afro-pop, R&B, and even touches of jazz and soul.
