Richard Amougou is a prominent Cameroonian musician deeply rooted in the Bikutsi genre, a popular dance music style originating from the Beti people of Cameroon.

He began his career in the 1990s, initially as a dancer for the renowned Bikutsi artist K-Tino, often referred to as “La femme du people.” His talent and dedication led him to collaborate with other artists, notably Fam Ndzengue, who served as a major inspiration.
