“Sanjè Sanjè” is a vibrant and culturally rich collaboration between two significant figures in Cameroonian music: the legendary John Sallé and the acclaimed Serge Mpollo (also known as Sergeo Polo).

John Sallé, often referred to as “King of Ambas-Bay” or “Johnco,” is a veteran Cameroonian musician considered one of the pioneers of the Ambass-Bay musical rhythm. This style originates from the coastal regions of Cameroon and is a precursor to Makossa.
