“Akamanyu K’umutsima”, a powerful gospel song by Chorale Sinai, has become an anthem of faith and resilience in Rwanda. The title translates to “The Taste of the Bread”, symbolizing the profound spiritual nourishment found in Christ.

Founded in 1997 in Kanombe, Kigali, Chorale Sinai began with just eight members, predominantly women, and has grown into a vibrant choir of over 80 members. Despite early challenges, including limited resources and the use of traditional instruments, the choir’s dedication to spreading the gospel through music has been unwavering.
