Aungo Wuod Awendo, born Silvance Odhiambo on May 14, 1994, is a vibrant and celebrated Kenyan musician, primarily known for his contribution to the Ohangla music genre. Ohangla is a traditional Luo dance music style from Western Kenya.

One of his widely recognized and popular songs is “Nyar Kokise.” In Dholuo, “Nyar” means “Daughter of,” and “Kokise” refers to Kokise, a specific place or region. Therefore, “Nyar Kokise” directly translates to “Daughter of Kokise.”
