Yondo Sister, born Yondo Kusala Denise, is a celebrated Congolese soukous singer known for her electrifying stage presence and captivating vocals. Often referred to as the “Queen of Soukous,” she began her career in the band of Tabu Ley Rochereau before launching a successful solo path. A native of DR Congo, her early hits like “Bazo” and “Zouke Zouke” helped popularize soukous music across Africa and the diaspora.
