Bernard Mukasa is a prominent Tanzanian Catholic musician, composer, and singer, born on January 31, 1977, in Bukoba, Tanzania. He is a key figure in the Tanzanian Catholic music scene, known for his role as a permanent member of the St. Kizito choir in Makuburi, Dar Es Salaam, and as the founder and leader of the QUADRI V choir, which consists of his family members. Mukasa has composed over 2,000 songs, enriching the Swahili liturgical music repertoire with pieces such as “Mimina Neema,” “Mwanzi Uliopondeka,” “Yesu Ni Mwema,” and “Wewe Ni Mungu”.
