The journey towards “Coming Home” began in mid-2023 when Usher embarked on his residency at the Colosseum at Caesars’ Palace in Las Vegas. During this time, he partnered with Rémy Martin for the “Life Is a Melody” campaign, offering fans a sneak peek of the album’s title track in an accompanying advertisement.

As anticipation for his return to the spotlight grew, Usher was announced as the headliner for the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show, a moment he described as the “honor of a lifetime.” Promising a groundbreaking performance, he simultaneously revealed plans for the album’s release, initially slated for February 11, 2024, before being moved up to February 9.

Featuring the lead single “Good Good” with Summer Walker and 21 Savage, “Coming Home” is a testament to Usher’s dedication to storytelling and connecting with his audience.
