“The Evil Genius“, the album from which “Òròkórò” originates, is Mr. Eazi’s most personal and profound work to date. It’s a project that took over two years to record across various global cities, featuring production from an international roster of talent including Kel-P (Nigeria), Michaël Brun (Haiti), Knucks (UK), and Nonso Amadi (Canada), alongside guest artists like Joeboy and the Soweto Gospel Choir.

The album is an exploration of deep themes such as love, betrayal, loneliness, and family, articulated through three distinctive movements or acts. Moreover, each track from the album is accompanied by a unique physical art piece, commissioned from contemporary visual artists across Africa, showcasing Mr. Eazi’s commitment to fostering a synergy between the booming African pop music industry and the continent’s fine art creators.
