Actress Mia Goth Sued for Battery by 'Maxxxine' Background Actor

Actress Mia Goth, renowned for her roles in “X” and “Pearl,” is facing a lawsuit from a background actor in her upcoming film in the series, “Maxxxine.” The actor alleges that Goth intentionally kicked him in the head during a scene, leading to serious injuries.

According to the lawsuit detailed by TMZ, the incident occurred while filming a night scene. The background actor, dressed in a robe and covered in fake blood, was required to lie in the dirt and pretend to be dead for hours, dealing with discomfort and insect bites. Goth, playing the character Maxine, was supposed to run past and step over the actor. However, after several takes, the actor claims that Goth deliberately kicked him in the head with her boot, resulting in a concussion diagnosed by doctors later.

Furthermore, the actor alleges that no medical assistance was provided on set. Instead, Goth reportedly confronted him in the bathroom, mocking and belittling him. The actor also describes difficulties caused by the fake blood, which adhered to his skin, causing additional pain when removed and leading to headaches and near fainting on his drive home.

Following the incident, the actor states he was removed from the production. He is now suing Goth, director Ti West, and A24 for at least $500K in damages, citing battery and wrongful termination, and is seeking additional punitive damages.
