Africa’s music scene is thriving, and leading the pack in earnings are some of the continent’s most celebrated artists. Africa Facts Zone, a prominent African publication, recently released a list detailing the booking fees for top African musicians, showcasing the lucrative nature of the music industry in the region.

Topping the list are the sensational trio of Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Rema, each commanding a staggering booking fee of $1 million, equivalent to approximately 2.5 billion Tanzanian Shillings. Their music has not only dominated the African airwaves but has also made a significant impact on the global stage.

List of Africa’s Highest-Paid Artists

Following closely are other renowned artists who have also made their mark:

  1. Davido ranks fourth with a booking fee of $600,000 (1.5 Billion TZS)
  2. Asake and Olamide are each valued at $500,000 (1.2 Billion TZS )
  3. Black Coffee, the acclaimed DJ, commands $300,000 (754 Million TZS )
  4. Kizz Daniel’s performances are priced at $200,000 (503 Million TZS)
  5. Amr Diab, the Egyptian superstar, charges $170,000, (427 Million TZS)
  6. Diamond Platinumz with a booking fee of $150,000 (375 Million TZS)
  7. Shatta Wale’s fee stands at $120,000, around 301 million Tanzanian Shillings.
  8. Tiwa Savage has a booking fee of $100,000, (251 Million TZS)
  9. Yemi Alade $75,000 (188 Million TZS)
  10. Flavour follows with $70,000 (176 Million TZS)
