President Trump’s youngest child, Barron Trump, turned 17 earlier this year and is known for staying (mostly) out of the spotlight, in contrast to his older half-siblings.

Who Is Barron Trump?

Barron William Trump is the youngest child of former U.S. President Donald Trump and former first lady Melania Trump. He was born on March 20, 2006, making him 16 years old as of 2022.

Barron is the only child of Donald and Melania Trump and has four older half-siblings from his father’s previous marriages. Unlike his older siblings, Barron has mostly stayed out of the public eye and has not been involved in politics. He was largely kept out of his father’s political activities during his presidency and was educated privately while living in the White House.

Barron has occasionally made public appearances with his parents, including at the presidential inauguration ceremonies in 2017 and 2021. He has also been spotted playing golf with his father on several occasions.

Barron William Trump is the youngest child of former President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump. He was born on March 20, 2006, in New York City.

Barron grew up in the public eye, attending various events with his parents and older siblings. He attended Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in Manhattan until 2017 when he and his mother moved to Washington, D.C. after Donald Trump was inaugurated as president.

Barron attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland, while his father was in office. He remained out of the public eye for the most part, although he occasionally accompanied his parents on official trips and events.

Barron has shown an interest in golf, like his father, and has played in several junior tournaments. He is also said to be fluent in Slovenian, his mother’s native language.

In January 2021, Barron and his family left the White House and moved to their Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. He is currently attending a private school in Palm Beach.

Barron Trump Is Not Frequently Photographed

Barron Trump is not often seen in photographs. When he is seen, it’s usually when he is traveling with his parents, getting on or off Air Force One or the President’s helicopter.

Recently, he was seen returning from a holiday trip to Mar-a-Lago with the Trump family. In another instance, Barron was spotted heading to Florida to spend the Thanksgiving long weekend at Mar-a-Lago with the President and First Lady.

Since JFK Jr., Barron is the first boy to reside in the White House.

Only girls were born to the three presidents before Trump – Obama, Bush, and Clinton. Although some presidents after JFK had sons, they were grown-ups who resided away from the White House.

“Sports” appears to be his primary interest.

During a forum at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, which was founded by Jerry Falwell and has been pivotal in solidifying Donald Trump’s support among the religious right, the First Lady spoke in November 2018. Melania aimed to raise awareness about the opioid epidemic, as part of her “Be Best” initiative, and also shared some details about her family’s life at the White House. Melania disclosed that Barron is not on social media and that he is heavily invested in sports.

However, ahead of Super Bowl Sunday, President Trump expressed his reluctance to allow his son to play football, saying, “I’d have a hard time with it. I just don’t like the reports that I see coming out having to do with football. I thought the equipment would get better, and it has. The helmets have gotten far better but it hasn’t solved the problem.”

Barron’s Height

Have you seen a seventh-grader as tall as his former-model mom and dad lately? Although Barron’s official height is not known publicly, pictures reveal that he is almost as tall as his 6’2″ father, President Trump, but not taller. His mother, Melania, has been 5’11” for years (excluding her heels, which she typically wears), as well.

He was diagnosed with COVID-19 in the initial stages of the pandemic.

Melania Trump shared her encounter with the coronavirus in an essay that she posted on the White House website. In the write-up, she disclosed that her son Barron had also tested positive for the illness but did not show any symptoms.

Melania wrote:

I tested positive for COVID-19 two weeks ago, a diagnosis that numerous Americans across the country and around the world had already received. To make matters worse, my husband, the Commander-in-Chief of our nation, received the same news. Naturally, my immediate concern was for our son. Thankfully, he tested negative initially, but like many parents in recent months, I couldn’t help but worry about “what if” scenarios for tomorrow or the next day.

Unfortunately, my concerns came true when he tested positive in a subsequent test. However, he is a resilient adolescent who showed no signs of sickness. I was relieved that the three of us went through this experience together, so we could care for one another and spend time together. Subsequently, he tested negative.
