Wizkid’s Essence is double platinum certified in US

The African music idol, Wizkid released his song ‘Essence’ featuring the very fresh talent, Tems in 2020.

And now in world history the hit song went gold in September 2021 and just in February 2022 is certified double platinum sold about 2 million units in the United States.

It is the first African song in history to reach double platinum in the US. Essence has been a very successful song in the world giving a lot of opportunities to Wizkid and Tems.

Justin Bieber was then featured on its remix in 2021.
