South African anti-apartheid Afropop singer, songwriter, dancer, and activist, Brenda Nokuzola. Affectionately called MaBrrr by her fans, she was sometimes described as the “Queen of African Pop”, the “Madonna of The Townships” or simply as The Black Madonna.
