Zily, also known as Amida Zily or Queen Zily, is a singer, songwriter, producer, and one of the most influential female artists from Mayotte. Born in 1983 in Tsingoni, she is known for taking Mahoran music to wider international audiences while promoting her culture through her label, Yeka Music. Zily’s sound, often called AfroMgodroPop, blends traditional Mayotte styles such as Debaa and Mbiwi with Afrobeat, Amapiano, pop, and modern African rhythms. She is known for songs such as “Moina Bibi,” “Tsika,” “A Validewa” featuring B-Junior, and “Nini Moina,” as well as albums like Imani Na Amani, Djimbo Laké, and Debaa Zangu.
