ASLAY
Aslay Isihaka Nassoro, popularly known as Aslay, Dogo Aslay, or Dingi Mtoto, is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava and Afro-pop singer-songwriter from Dar es Salaam. He first gained attention as a young artist with “Naenda Kusema” before becoming one of the lead voices of Yamoto Band alongside Mbosso, Beka Flavour, and Enock Bella. After going solo, Aslay built a strong career with songs such as “Natamba,” “Mhudumu,” “Hauna,” “Natulia,” “Kapeperuka,” and “She’s Mine.” Known for his smooth vocals, emotional love songs, and blend of Bongo Flava, Afrobeat, and Taarab influences, he remains one of Tanzania’s respected contemporary music voices.
