To Journalists: The Sixth Phase Government allocated 240 billion Shillings in 2021 for the construction of 12,000 classrooms in secondary schools, allowing all 907,802 students who completed grade 2 to resume their studies in January 2022.
Similarly, for the year 2022, the President allowed the construction of 8,000 classrooms after receiving a success estimate and discovering that the number of pupils will increase. 2.0 Student Selection for the January 2023 First Form
The Office of the President โ TAMISEMI has concluded the exercise Selection of Students to Join the First Year in January 2023 in conjunction with the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology and the Tanzania Examinations Council. According to the Tanzania Examinations Council, the election featured 1,073,941 students who passed the Examination of Completing Primary Education in 2022. In Government Schools, 514,846 boys and 514,846 girls are eligible to enrol in the First Form of Secondary Studies.
